Google Ads you can see

Your ad account should have your name on it.

Some Google Ads arrangements are sold as one monthly number, say "$X a month for Google Ads", and run inside the agency's own Google Ads account. When that happens, you may not be able to log in, see what Google actually charged, or tell how much of your payment reached Google versus how much stayed with the agency. That setup isn't automatically dishonest. But you can't check it, and you deserve to be able to.

We do it the other way:

  • You own the Google Ads account. It's created in your name, or we're added as a manager to the account you already have.
  • Google bills your card directly for ad spend. We never touch your ad budget.
  • Our management fee is separate and shows on its own invoice.
  • You keep everything if you leave: the account, the campaigns, the ads, the conversion data. That's our No-Hostage Guarantee.
  • Reports on schedule, or that month is credited.

How to check your current setup (5 minutes)

  1. Who owns the account? Ask for the Google Ads customer ID (format 123-456-7890) and whose name and email are on it as admin.
  2. Can you log in? You should have your own login with Admin access, not just a PDF report.
  3. Do you see Google's invoice? In Google Ads, go to Billing > Documents. If you can't, or the payment method isn't yours, Google isn't billing you directly.
  4. Is the fee separate from spend? Your monthly payment should split into (a) what Google charged and (b) the management fee. If it's one bundled number, ask for the split.
  5. What happens if you leave? Ask in writing whether you keep the account, campaigns and history.

If any answer is "no" or "I'm not sure", we'll do a free Ads Transparency Check. We look at what you can see, and show you what you can't. No obligation.
